Introduction

Crafting Code and Opportunities.

I'm a Backend Developer and Entrepreneurial Enthusiast from Somalia. Currently, I am a second-year Computer Science and IT student at Red Sea University, but my coding journey began long before I entered university. I started programming at the age of 8, initially diving into game development. Over the years, I’ve honed my skills and gained extensive experience with Go (Golang), Svelte, Rust, and the Godot game engine. My background as a former game developer has given me a unique perspective on problem-solving and creativity in backend development.

In my free time, I love coding and tackling well-known problems by creating simple but effective software solutions. That’s one of the reasons I started working on TFKitty (more on that later). When I’m not coding, I enjoy playing video games, going for walks, and reading history books especially those about the medieval era.

At U-learns, I contributed to building an in-house student management system using Svelte and Go. The platform introduced a seamless way to register students, manage courses, and track payments, including outstanding balances. Currently, I’m developing a multi-platform app to complement the system, using my own engine, TFKitty, to bring the functionality beyond the web and onto other devices.es.
